Harron Musumba attended the University of Nairobi, School of Built Environment, from 2004 and attained his Bachelors Degree in Land Economics in 2008.
He worked as a trainee Valuer and Property Manager in 2006 and 2007 at Regent Group (Regent Management Ltd and Regent Valuers International (K) Ltd).
In July 2008 he was employed at Regent Group as a Valuer and Property Manager. In August 2008 he was appointed as a Branch Manager to head the Eldoret and North Rift Region office based in Eldoret town. In October 2009, Harron was transferred to Regent’s head office in Nairobi where he worked as a Valuer and Property manager until January 2011. In December 2009, he was elected as an Associate Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (Valuers and Estate Managers Chapter).
As a Valuer, Harron has experience in valuation of Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Institutional properties for Mortgage, Sale, Purchase, Insurance, Book keeping among others.
As a Property Manager, Harron was in charge of various multi-storey Commercial and Residential properties in Nairobi and Eldoret. The Commercial buildings managed in Nairobi covered a total area of over 250,000 square feet. The duties included preparation of budgets for the buildings, billing and collection of rent, lease administration, supervision of staff, supervision of service providers, and preparation of reports to the landlord, liaison between the landlord and the tenants and meeting the contract targets.
Harron joined Kenya Valuers and Estate Agents Limited as Valuer in February 2011. He currently undertakes valuation for all types of properties for Mortgage, Insurance, Purchase, Sale, Book keeping, Rating and Compulsory acquisition of land purposes among others.
